Today, we’re talking about MARKETING & CREATING DEMAND. If you’ve wondered what this really means - or you aren’t sure how to create demand - you’re in the right place.

Let’s dive in…

WHAT DOES MARKETING & CREATING DEMAND EVEN MEAN??

Marketing is every piece of content you create - verbal and written - that talks about what you do. It’s that simple. Meet people, tell them or create a post - it’s all marketing.

WHat is creating demand? Creating demand is just the fancy marketing term for generating interest….creating interest in your business. It’s not complicated or scary.

So when I refer to marketing, often I’m thinking of your written marketing content or strategy. And when I’m referring to creating demand, I’m referring to the number of people reaching out or clients you’ve signed.

NEXT, LET’S TALK ABOUT THE MARKETING MYTHS IN ONLINE BUSINESS:

MYTH 1: You must run ads or have a funnel to create a 6-figure business.

TRUTH: You can grow a 6-figure business (and beyond!) organically.

MYTH 2: You must track engagement and audience growth to see success.

TRUTH: Sure we like to see more people joining our worlds, but that’s not an accurate assessment of success….or if your marketing is working for you.

(Share the story about the woman with 15,000+ followers on IG, hundreds of likes and comments on every post….and was struggling to make $2,000 a month)

MYTH 3: People know what you do, so it’ll be annoying if you always tell them.

TRUTH: Untrue. People skim and many won’t even see the majority of your content.

MYTH 4: You must track the analytics on every post.

TRUTH: Marketing is a cumulative/compound effect over time. One post will not make or break your business.

WHAT DOES ALL THIS MEAN:

It means that you can likely simplify things. Your marketing is every conversation you have a word that you write. And you want your marketing to create interest from people you can help.

The true measure if your marketing is working or not is to look at the financials of your business - mainly - IS YOUR BUSINESS PROFITABLE?

>If it’s not profitable and no one is reaching out - Your marketing is not working for you. No matter how much engagement that post got.

>And if your business isn’t AS profitable as you want, it’s time to look at marketing vs sales. Which area is holding back your business? Because this is where you need to focus on first to keep growing.

And remember, helping you sort all this out to create more opportunities for your business is what I help you do. If you’re curious about coaching together, DM me or head to my website and we’ll schedule a free call to talk more about this.
