Last week, I shared with you how to evaluate 2021 and set yourself up for a more profitable and enjoyable 2022. If you haven’t watched that session yet, definitely go and watch that episode. That lays the groundwork for today.
Because, today, we’re taking a deeper dive into how you’re going to create your most profitable year yet.
The biggest mistake I see women make is by setting an income goal without understanding how to actually hit it.
So they either keep doing things exactly the same, hoping for bigger results -OR- they just start working more.
Neither approach creates a business where you are working less hours and making more money. So, let’s break this down.
The first thing we need to talk about is the difference between client facing and back end business activities.
CLIENT FACING are things you do that your clients actually see or engage with:
Marketing/Copy
Create demand
Raise prices
Close more sales
Improve client results
Overdeliver to current clients
Simplify results, onboarding, etc.
Create client assets
BACK-END BUSINESS are things that you’re setting up or working on behind the scenes:
Create systems/processes
Increase calm/confidence, Decrease stress/anxiety
Increase revenue
Manage your money
Hone your ______ skills
Delegate/outsource
Work fewer hours
Expand/train team
Time management
1. What are the TOP 3 areas that will make the biggest impact on your growth next year?
2. This becomes your guidepost for every decision you make in your business.
You work on these until you reach mastery. You will be tempted to switch your focus but, trust me, if you constrain yourself to these 3 areas, you will move the needle forward in your business instead of spinning in circles.
So, these might last all year, or you may master it after a few months. It will vary. But stay focused until you master it!
